DV MathCounts is an after school program on Fridays with a mission to nurture a student’s love for mathematics in a healthy, competitive environment. MathCounts is part of a nationwide math competition series.
Our MathCounts sessions will meet on most Fridays from 3-5 pm. At each session, our students will be challenged with math problems tailored to their abilities. Thereafter, they will be coached by our High School Mentors who will go through and explain the problems that they missed. See
dvmathcounts.com for more information about how the program operates at Diablo Vista Middle School.
Your donation of $80 to the DV MathCounts help cover the following expenses:
- Database for competition math problems
- Cost of AMC tests
- Registration for Team Competition
- Club T-shirts
- Game Rewards
- Weekly snacks and supplies
- Parties
Also, we will request a $20 donation to cover the cost of purchasing year-end gifts to mentors. Our High School Mentors are volunteering their time to support our MathCounts sessions, we hope to present them with a gift of appreciation. This will be collected later.
Your donation and support make a difference! Our sessions are funded by donations from you. Thank you!
